Our BESPOKE Safety Training courses can be delivered 'in-house' and verified by an end of course test for certification. This enables you to prove that there has been a transfer of information and the aims and objectives of the course satisfied. Topics Covered in addition to the 3 fire ( see Fire Safety ) courses are:
- Basic Health & Safety Awareness
Course Objectives:
On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety law and their individual and collective responsibilities under relevant statutory provisions.
- Identify the common causes of injury and ill health associated with their workplace and work activities, also the preventative measures to eliminate or minimise the effects of hazards and risks associated with their occupations.

- Understand how and why Manual Handling injuries occur.
- Apply correct handling techniques in their every day work activities.
Health & Safety responsibilities of Directors and Managers
Course Objectives:
On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety law and their individual and collective responsibilities under relevant statutory provisions.
- Display Screen Equipment ( DSE )
On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the relevant Regulations.
- Understand the factors to be considered when assessing a Display Screen Workstation.
- Conduct Display Screen Equipment Assessments.
Half Day Courses
- Health & Safety for Supervisors and Managers
On successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety law and their individual and collective responsibilities under relevant statutory provisions.

- Prepare generic COSHH, Manual Handling and Risk Assessments
